Alpine Mountain Hosts Ski & Snowboard Exams
Alpine Mountain hosted the American Association of SnowBoard Instructor’s Exams and Professional Ski Instructors of America Exams on January 29 & 30. The two day event was structured by the parent organizations, PSIA and AASI to insure that instructors can demonstrate every facet that is required to safely teach skiing and snowboarding. Instructors from Alpine, Camelback, and Shawnee demonstrated their skill mastery over the two (2) day period. Eleven (11) of Alpine’s instructors were successful in meeting the certification requirements.
Alpine Ski School Director, Bill Wenton coordinated the event to showcase Alpine’s excellence at providing quality instruction to the skiing and boarding public. All instructor examiners were in agreement that “Alpine is a fantastic mountain to learn how to ski or snowboard and equally a wonderful place to teach”. Alpine Mountain has over two (2) dozen professionally certified Ski and SnowBoard Instructors available to the public for both group and private lessons. Mountain Resort Ski and Golf Inc. at Alpine Mountain is committed to bringing excellence in family oriented winter sports.

| Friday Night Family Night
$25 per family member Bring your family to join us at Alpine on Friday nights and enjoy a lift ticket (4pm to close), group lesson, and equipment rental. PLUS, you’ll receive a $7.50 food voucher for our Food and Beverage Concession! Challenge Cup Races There is a challenge race every Saturday and Sunday at Alpine Mountain at 1:00pm. There is a $5.00 entry fee and participants compete in age divisions. Each participant receives 2 timed runs.

Scouts of all ages and skiing abilities are sure to enjoy our wintersports activities for the entire family at spectacular savings for you by just being involved in the scouting program. These Weekends are open to all levels of Scouts and their families.
If hitting the slopes for a day of skiing or riding is not for you, we are offering a special rate for six fun-filled hours of snowtubing, and the best part is that no experience is necessary!
The prices for this event are as follows:
$35 Lift, Lesson & Rental
$28 Lift & Lesson
$23 Lift Ticket only
$30 Lift & Rental
$7 Snowtubing upgrade after skiing
$15 Six hour snow tubing session 10am -4pm
